Small business workshop scheduled in Aurora

AURORA - A free small-business workshop will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 16, at Two Brothers Roundhouse restaurant, 205 N. Broadway in Aurora.

Financing, credit repair, planning, loans, marketing, customer service, tax preparation, insurance and social media are among topics to be explored. Networking opportunities will be available with Industry experts, entrepreneurs and local organizations that support small businesses.

Keynote speaker will be Michael Preston, owner of Cruisin' Waves, a low-cost boat rental operating on Spring Lake in Aurora.

Workshop co-sponsors are Waubonsee Community College, City of Aurora, Old Second Bank and Accion Chicago. The public is invited.
