Kids serenade Blackhawks at Arlington Hts. library
In honor of the Blackhawks and their Stanley Cup quest, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library is inviting kids to bang out the team's victory song with their feet.
A floor piano has been installed in Kids' World on the first floor, and sheet music for the song "Chelsea Dagger" will be set up through the weekend.
The floor piano is part of the library's summer's Read to the Rhythm reading program, now through Aug. 8.
Activities are planned for all ages so patrons are invited sign up early and join the summer celebration of music, dancing, singing and reading.
For more information, visit the Summer Reading Program page, at www.ahml.info/summer.
Christopher Paekim, left, and Alex Gonzalez, both of Arlington Heights, get a load of making music with their feet.
