Visit annual Grayslake Arts Festival June 13

The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a day of live entertainment, arts and crafts, food and music.

The Grayslake Arts Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday June 13.

The festival will feature the work of more than 60 juried artists in media such as oil and watercolor painting, woodworking, jewelry, photography, ceramics and pottery, sculpture and more, as well as a high school art exhibit, food vendors, children's activities, and entertainment.

More than 2,000 visitors are expected to participate in activities throughout the day. Special activities will include "Decorate a Baseball Cap with Us" presented by the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum and "Nature Art."

More than 30 arts and craft vendors are scheduled to be on hand, and music will be provided by Foundation 46.

The Grayslake Arts Festival will take place on Whitney Street in downtown Grayslake. The event is free.
