Learn to kayak at Independence Grove

Lake County Forest Preserve District staffers will offer an introductory kayaking class Saturday, June 13, at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve near Libertyville. The class will run from 9 a.m. to noon. It's open to adults or families with kids who are at least 9 years old. Registration costs $29 for Lake County residents or $41 for anyone else.
