District 73 before, after school child care

Registration for the new Afterschool Program is nearing capacity at some schools in Hawthorn Elementary District 73. Parents can register at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 Aspen Drive or www.vhparkdistrict.org. The District 73 school board this year approved the Vernon Hills Park District as its before- and after-school child care provider for district children. Fees are mornings: $7.50 per day; $37.50 per week; afternoons: $14.50 per day; $72.50 per week; $20 per day for early dismissal days; full-day program: $35 per day.
