Birthday bash for special needs kids
Registration is available for the Lexi Kazian Foundation's 11th annual birthday bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 W. Buckley Road (Route 137) near Libertyville. The event also will feature the first "I Am Me" pageant where every contestant is a winner in categories such as best smile, hair, dress, etc. Admission, food, games and entertainment are free. The event is open to children with special needs, their families, therapists and close friends of the foundation.
