Get tips on firework photography, then join July 4th outing

On Thursday, June 11, James Kalemis and Mike Frankowski will present a program on "Phenomenal Fireworks Photography" at the Elgin 360 Photography Club meeting at 7 p.m. at Side Street Studio Arts, 15 Ziegler Court in downtown Elgin. Then on the afternoon/early evening of Saturday, July 4, club members are invited to meet and set up early along the Riverside Drive Promenade to take photos of the city of Elgin's annual fireworks display that night along the Fox River in downtown Elgin.

The club meeting will be preceded by a pre-meeting dinner at a local downtown Elgin restaurant (TBA) beginning at 5:30 p.m.
