Friends of the Palatine Library to host used book sale

The Friends of the Palatine Library will hold a Summer Used Book Sale from Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21. The selection of materials includes books, DVDs, and CDs donated by the community and available at a deep discount. The used book sales are always a popular event at the Palatine Library. Be sure and come early to check out the great selection and pricing that the sale offers.

Sale hours:

• 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 19. Members-no charge, nonmembers $5.

• 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 20. Free admission.

• 12:30-3 p.m. Sunday, June 21. Free admission. Bargain day, all items half-price.

All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Palatine Public Library District. The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program.
