Join golf outing benefit to help paralyzed Sleepy Hollow mom
On Monday, June 22, tee off for a good cause at a golf outing event in honor of paralyzed local mother and wife Eileen Reedy of Sleepy Hollow at the Golf Club of Illinois, 1575 Edgewood Drive in Algonquin.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The event includes two opportunities to win a car with a hole-in-one. A cocktail party and dinner will wrap up the festivities.
An avid golfer, gardener and traveler, Reedy was left paralyzed from the chest down after a fall down the stairs in 2014. The resilient mother of three is pursuing physical therapy and spinal cord injury treatments to return to a productive life. Spinal cord injury care and therapy will cost her family between $200,000 and $1 million per year. Proceeds from the golf outing will be collected through the nonprofit HelpHOPELive to help cover the uninsured expenses associated with Reedy's injury.
Admission is $175 for a single golfer or $700 for a team of four. Admission price includes lunch, drink tickets, prizes and all cart and range fees. Enjoy cocktails and dinner without tournament admission for $50.
Sponsorships are still available at multiple price levels.
Registration is available online. Learn more about the event and sponsorship opportunities by calling Rich Reedy at (847) 624-3213 or by emailing xprtski@aol.com.
