Elk Grove Village Jaycees Best Pizza Conest Winners

The Elk Grove Village Jaycees held a Best Pizza Contest on May 29th at the Holiday Inn of Elk Grove. Nine area restaurants participated and the winners have been determined:

• Cheese: Coach's Corner

• Deluxe: Shelby Campbell's

• Meat: Rosati's

• Thick Crust: Jet's

• Thin Crust: Doughboy's

• Specialty: Jet's

The Elk Grove Village Jaycees would like to thank all the participating restaurants:

• Bacci Pizza in Bensenville

• Coach's Corner in Elk Grove Village

• Doughboy's in Elk Grove Village

• Jet's Pizza in Arlington Heights

• Real Time Sports in Elk Grove Village

• Rosati's Pizza in Elk Grove Village

• Salt Creek Pizza in Elk Grove Village

• Shelby Campbell's in Elk Grove Village

• White Cottage Pizzeria in Wood Dale

In addition, the Elk Grove Village Jaycees would like to thank the community for their attendance and support, the many volunteers who spent countless hours working on this project, and the Holiday Inn of Elk Grove for allowing the Jaycees to use the ballroom. More than 150 people came out to make this a great event. A portion of the proceeds will be shared with the Clearmont and Salt Creek Elementary School PTOs.
