Prince of Peace Mission in Action on May 30th

Prince of Peace United Methodist Church in Elk Grove Village takes worship outside the church walls on weekends that include a 5th Sunday. This new mission experience begins Saturday, May 30th when the church membership and friends will gather at 9am for a short worship experience followed by the planting of a vegetable garden that will feed area needy throughout the summer. Members will also fill Flood Buckets that will be used around the world wherever a crisis creates a need. The buckets are distributed through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).

Prince of Peace would like to thank Berthold's Garden Center for partnering with us, providing all the plants and fertilizer for the vegetable garden. The produce is donated to the Elk Grove Food Pantry.

All are welcome to join us on May 30th and be a part of helping our neighbors.

Prince of Peace Church is located at the corner of Arlington Heights Road and Devon Avenue in Elk Grove Village.
