App reviews: Camoji, for video clips; Drizly, for drinks delivery

CAMOJI

Ever wondered how to make your own GIFs, those quick video highlights that play on loop?

Camoji has made it pretty easy to capture a funny moment, stick your own text on top of it and keep that clip playing over and over. The app uses your phone's camera to capture the video, then lets you add text or a filter for a bit more flair. The design is fairly intuitive and simple, while still giving you a range of options - such as adjusting the speed of the video or the font. Camoji is integrated with Facebook's Messenger app, which makes it easy to share your GIFs there, but you can also save them to your phone. Free, for iOS and Android devices.

DRIZLY

Drinking and driving is a horrible idea. But drivers who deliver drinks? That might not be a bad concept. Drizly lets residents in 14 U.S. cities push a button on their phones to order alcohol to their doorstep.

In most areas, your liquor of choice arrives in 20 to 40 minutes, along with a $5 delivery charge. That may be a small price to pay, though, if you're running low on wine halfway through book club. The app lets you browse hundreds of types of alcohol, though the exact options depend on your location. Drizly promises no price markups on the beverage purchases. Free, for iOS and Android devices.
