Brainerd Building bricks for sale May 30

Salvaged bricks from the recently demolished Brainerd Building and Jackson Gym in Libertyville will again be offered for sale May 30.

The sale will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at Libertyville High School, 708 W. Park Ave., near the tennis courts that are north of the football field. Bricks cost $10 each and will benefit the District 128 Foundation for Learning, a nonprofit support group. A similar sale was held May 9. A second session was scheduled to meet demand, officials said.
