Palatine K of C Holy Ghost Council 4977 I.D. Awards Dinner

The Knights of Columbus Holy Ghost Council 4977 recently hosted their annual I.D. Dinner. The guests of honor were fourteen charities that service those with Intellectual Disabilities. In attendance were administrators/staff and a representation of those to which they provide service, aid and assistance. The clients of these organizations are furnished what is necessary for their physically, medically and spiritually needs. Following the dinner, which was enjoyed by over 140 attendees, the checks were personally presented to each individual charity by their sponsoring Knight. The distribution of the checks was made possible by all of those who volunteered their time to stand on street corners and in front of stores in the K of C Tootsie Roll Collection and those that contributed financially to the cause last September. A special thanks to St. Theresa and St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Churches for allowing us the use of their facilities for the sales.

The dinner was fully sponsored, prepared and served by the Holy Ghost Council #4977 members and wives.
