Schaumburg library hosts night around the campire for young adults

A night around the campfire, complete with roasting marshmallows and a scavenger hunt, will be part of Camp NextGen, a Schaumburg Township District Library outing for those in their 20s and 30s.

The library will hold Camp NextGen from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. Storyteller Scott Whitehair will add to the evening's entertainment.

Registration is required. To register, call (847) 923-3140.

Camp NextGen participants should use the nature center's Schaumburg Road parking lot, where a staff member will be there to greet and guide. In case of rain, participants should go to the nature center's log cabin.
