Elgin

• Jose Acosta, 21, of the 400 block of Franklin Street in Elgin, was charged with aggravated battery, unlawful restraint, resisting a police officer, domestic battery, driving with a suspended license and violating an order of protection, court records show. His bail was set at $75,000 in Kane County bond court and his next court date is June 3.

West Dundee

• Megan Lino, 18, of the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue in Carpentersville, was charged May 13 with possession of marijuana, police said. She posted $150 bond. Her next court date is June 11.
