Learn about mental health

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Kane-south, DeKalb and Kendall Counties recognizes May as Mental Health Awareness Month at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Wheeler Park in Geneva and Jewel-Osco in Batavia.

The agency will share green ribbons for Mental Health Awareness Month as well as literature and information about mental health and NAMI services.

Donations and NAMI memberships will be accepted. Look for NAMI KDK at the following locations and dates:

• Rush-Copley Medical Center from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, near the cafeteria, 2000 Ogden Ave., Aurora.

• From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Wheeler Park, 822 N. First St., Geneva. Mini Golf is available for the mini fundraiser.

• From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Jewel-Osco, 119 S. Randall Road, Batavia.
