Children's entertainers put on summer lunchtime shows

Naperville Park District again will host the Children's Lunch Hour Entertainment series on Tuesdays, alternating between north and south locations.

Mary Macaroni, a versatile children's entertainer, will open the free series at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Frontier Sports Complex, on the east side of the park at 3415 Book Road, Naperville.

Each of the children's entertainers in the summer lineup will present an interactive and high-energy show for kids and people of all ages. Parents and children are encouraged to pack a lunch, bring a blanket and sunglasses, and enjoy the performance and the summer weather.

All shows begin at 11:30 a.m. and last about 50 minutes. Three shows will take place on the Riverwalk near the Grand Pavilion, 500 W. Jackson Ave., and three will be on the east side of Frontier Sports Complex at 3415 Book Road.

The summer lineup is as follows:

• June 16: Mary Macaroni, Frontier Sports Complex

• June 23: Dave Rudolf, Riverwalk Grand Pavilion

• June 30: Super Stolie, Frontier Sports Complex

• July 14: Miss Jamie from the Farm, Riverwalk Grand Pavilion

• July 21: Jeanie B., Frontier Sports Complex

• July 28: Istvan and His Imaginary Band, Riverwalk Grand Pavilion
