Dist. 54 appoints two new assistant principals
The Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 school board has appointed two new assistant principals for next school year - Megan Cothroll at the Early Learning Center and Amy Houlihan at Fox and Hanover Highlands elementary schools. Cothroll, a speech-language pathologist at Eisenhower Junior High School, will be the first assistant principal of the Early Learning Center that opened at the start of this school year. Houlihan, currently a literacy instructional coach for District 54, spent four months as interim assistant principal at Armstrong Elementary School during a maternity leave. She will divide her time between the two Hanover Park schools to which she's been assigned.
