The Friends of Judson University will have its annual garage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 8, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the First Baptist Church, 1735 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin. All proceeds will go to scholarships for worthy students at Judson University.

The Friends of Judson University is a nonprofit organization, which has as its mission to enhance the quality of student life on Judson's campus and raise funds for scholarships for worthy students, as well as, advance community interest in Judson University and in the students who attend.

There will be a wide range of items for sale, including furniture, tools, children's toys, house wares, linens, bedding, seasonal items, books, jewelry, adult and children's clothing and many more miscellaneous items.
