New terms begin for Hoffman Estates trustees

Hoffman Estates village trustees Anna Newell, Gary Pilafas and Gary Stanton were sworn in to new terms at a special ceremony Saturday morning at village hall.

Senior Trustee Karen Mills presided over the event in the absence of Mayor Bill McLeod. The swearings in were conducted by retired Judge Richard Kavitt.

The three incumbents won re-election April 7, beating out former trustee Cary Collins in his bid to return to the village board.
