Sorority Recruitment Information Session to be held at the Barrington Public Library on May 11

The Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Panhellenic will host a Sorority Recruitment Information Session on Monday, May 11 at 7pm. The Session will be held at the Barrington Area Public Library, 505 W. Northwest Highway, Barrington, IL 60010. All area High School Senior girls and their parents are invited to attend.

Please come and get the 'real deal' on joining and being an active member of a sorority. You'll hear about the recruitment process (formerly called 'rush') from recent sorority initiates. We will give you tips to help you to navigate the process start to finish, including information on legacies and recommendation letters. We will also share information about what the first year of membership holds, including financial responsibilities, academics, philanthropy, and athletics. A take-home "Recruitment Info" booklet will be available to all attendees.

Sororities emphasize scholarship, practice good citizenship, develop leadership skills, encourage loyalty, and promote concern for others. Come, listen, ask questions, and learn more about what being a member of a sorority may mean for you in college, as well as after graduation.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot soon! There is no cost, but an RSVP is required. Please send an email to recruitment@cnwsap.org with your name and the name of your high school.
