Sugar Grove Corn Boil offers Donna Markus Scholarship

In honor of a longtime Sugar Grove Corn Boil volunteer, the Sugar Grove Corn Boil Committee will be accepting applications for the Donna Markus Scholarship for 2015.

Two student scholarship awards in the amount of $500 each will be presented at the Corn Boil opening ceremony on Friday, July 24.

The students must: be a resident of Sugar Grove; be a current volunteers for the library, Sugar Grove Corn Boil or other Sugar Grove 503(c)(3) nonprofit; be a senior in high school or enrolled in a college; have maintained at least a 2.0 grade-point average throughout last two years in high school; be accepted to or currently enrolled an accredited college/university or technical school; and plan to apply the scholarship to the upcoming school year.
