Elgin Public Works to host open house May 2

The city of Elgin is hosting its annual Public Works Open House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the public works facility, 1900 Holmes Road, west of McLean Boulevard and north of Davis Road.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

There will be snowplow rides, demonstrations, truck displays, as well as complimentary refreshments and giveaways.
