Cary Park District recognizes volunteers

At the Cary Park District's April 23 board of commissioners meeting, 10 individuals were recognized for their contributions in providing exceptional recreation, parks, and open space opportunities to the residents of the Cary Park District.

Those recognized were volunteers, partners, or park district staff.

The honorees are: Ginger Strader, Cary Jr. Trojans volunteer; Katherine McGuire, Cary Soccer Association volunteer; Sara Hartke, partner for the Happy Trails Fishing Derby; Malachy Breslin, Cary Park District volunteer; Shelley Walsh, Cary Barracudas Swim Team volunteer; Isabel Ramirez, Cary Park District volunteer; Ken Campbell, Cary-Grove Youth Baseball & Soccer volunteer; and Cary Park District staff members Jane Hochel, Juliana Nadeau and Laura Castronovo.
