Backyard Garden Club to host annual plant sale May 16

The Backyard Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale.

The sale will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Grafelman Park, off Fourth and Main streets in West Dundee. The park is located on Main Street (Route 72), three blocks east of Route 31.

The members will be selling plants from their own gardens.

There will be a variety of perennials, annuals, native plants, vegetables, herbs and more. The proceeds of this sale are used to provide several scholarships to local area students pursuing careers in horticulture, environmental studies or related fields.
