Bartlett Park District 5K, 10K returns May 9

About 500 people are expected to run or walk the Bartlett Park District's annual Apple Blossom Run Saturday, May 9.

The race will step off at 8 a.m. near Pipers Drive and South Bartlett Road. Bartlett police will provide traffic control at the following intersections along the route:

• South Bartlett Road at Pipers Drive

• South Bartlett Road near Wilcox Drive

• Prospect Avenue at Country Drive

• Prospect Avenue near Wilcox Drive

Police also are cautioning that drivers may experience short delays while runners and walkers are crossing the roads.
