Lunch with the mayor of Waukegan May 11

Waukegan Mayor Wayne Motley will be the speaker at the 30th annual Lunch with the Mayor event Monday, May 11, at the Glen Flora Country Club, 2200 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan. Motley will give a state of the city address and answer audience questions. Also presenting will be Jamie O'Meara, president of the Waukegan MainStreet board, and partnership chair Sandy Petroshius. The annual event is attended by prominent business people, politicians, representatives from community organizations and interested citizens. Lunch and presentations will begin about 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $50 for MainStreet members and $60 for nonmembers. Visit waukeganmainstreet.org to register.
