Volo Unit of Lake County Association for Home and Community Education
Alva Thompson and Mary Ann Willis will be presenting the program, Eating Well As You Age. Members will be bringing flower vases to be donated to an organization that rearranges flowers to be given to nursing homes , assisted living and senior homes .
Upcoming events will be a tour of Golden Oaks farm on June 15 and also a Master Gardeners plant sale on May 16 at the U of I Extension building in Grayslake.
Bring a sandwich, dessert and beverages provided and join with the 21 members as they learn and share a good time the second Wednesday of each month.
Hostess will be Karen Nuccio, Maddy Hosbein and Eleanor Wasielewski.
