Dennison, Jacobs blank Huntley

Casey Dennison tossed a 3-hitter and Tim Randl went 2-for-3 with a double as Jacobs topped Huntley 3-0 Saturday in a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division baseball game.

Dennison struck out 5 and walked 1 in his complete-game effort for the Golden Eagles (18-3, 2-0).

Nate Meland and Cameron Wilson drove in runs for Jacobs.

Ryan Mills suffered the loss for Huntley (5-13, 0-2). He went 5 innings, allowing 5 hits with 6 strikeouts and no walks.
