Applying to college is stressful. But after months spent filling out forms, deciphering such acronyms as FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and EFC (expected family contribution); strategically selecting early-decision schools; and waiting endlessly to hear back, a few lucky and hardworking students are rewarded with an inbox full of acceptance offers.

Apparently, that's where the problems start. With springtime comes blooming trees, new college acceptance letters, and a social media explosion of emoji-filled humble bragging. Some of the worst offenders below.
