South Elgin 5, Neuqua Valley 4: Rachel Ziemba scored the winning run on an error in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Storm (8-10, 6-4) won in the Upstate Eight Valley. Cassidy Westlund was 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI for South Elgin, while Stacy Bellack, Taylor Ford and Bri Pena each drove in a run. Rachel Weiss was the winning pitcher, allowing 5 hits with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks.

Carmel 13, Cary-Grove 2: Brianne Prank had a home run for Cary-Grove (6-9) in this nonconference loss. Amanda DeGroote was the losing pitcher.

McHenry 14, Dundee-Crown 0: The Chargers (9-5, 3-2) managed just 3 hits in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division loss. Sydney Ruggles was the losing pitcher.

St. Charles North 12, Streamwood 2: Losing pitcher Jessica Daley and Rebecca Roncone had doubles for the Sabres (4-13, 1-8) in the Upstate Eight River.
