Maine West's Moving for a Cause walk/run rescheduled

Inclement weather expected on Saturday, April 25 has caused Maine West High School in Des Plaines to reschedule the 5K "Moving for a Cause Walk/Run" to Saturday, May 30. The cost to participate is $5-$10 and proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Each year Maine West conducts a schoolwide fundraiser in support of charities selected by students. In the past seven years, Maine West students, staff and community have raised more than $100,000.
