Glen Ellyn Walking Tour Developed by Churchill Elementary School's Level Three PBL Project

Glen Ellyn's Churchill Elementary School Level 3 Problem Based Learning goal was to develop an educational and engaging self-guided tour of Glen Ellyn. With the support of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, the students achieved their PBL goal and published a walking tour pamphlet that included Stacy's Tavern Museum, Forest Hill Cemetery, Churchill Forest Preserve, the site of the Glen Ellyn Hotel, and two historic homes. The GEHS Executive Board gathered together on Tuesday, April 21, in the evening, to see and hear the students present their self-guided tour by using a Power-Point program and giving the board members tri-fold copies of the tour.
