Death of Arlington Heights girl under investigation

Arlington Heights police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl who was found unresponsive and later died at a Chicago hospital, officials said.

Hailey Yale died at Lurie Children's Hospital at 11:35 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

A preliminary cause of death is still pending. ​
