214@100: First Knightimes event in Prospect history
Two years after Prospect High School opened in 1957, the school administration decided to create an event for the students called Knightimes. The first Knightimes was from Oct. 12-17, 1959. The week consisted of such school spirit events as color day, during which the students wore Columbia and Navy Blue. Then on that Friday, the last day of Knightimes, a parade traveled from Prospect High School to downtown Mount Prospect. The 1959 Knightimes established a tradition that still lives on today.
