The Falconaires Orchestra presents Music from Around the World

The Falconaires Orchestra announces its spring 2015 concert, featuring "Music from Around The World - When Music WAS Music" playing American "Big Band" music by composers from Italy, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Greece, Denmark, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

The Falconaires Orchestra, presented by District 214 Community Education, will perform on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., at the Forest View Educational Center theater, 2121 South Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.

Adult tickets at the door are $20.00, advance adult tickets are $15.00, and Gold Card Club tickets are $14.00. Children K-12 will be admitted free with a paying adult. To buy your tickets, please call Community Education at 847-718-7702, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM-3:30 PM.

The Falconaires Orchestra Concert is composed of 17 musicians and three guest vocalists: Ms. Angie Lyons, Ms. Tina Papademos and Mr. Luis Galvez, and Conductor Mr. Steve Cooper, a well-known Chicago trumpet player, music teacher, orchestra conductor and music arranger.

The Falconaires Orchestra has been an integral part of the Northwest suburbs' entertainment community since March 2008 and has performed at the Skokie Music Theater, the Chevy Chase Country Club, the Arlington Park Race Track and most recently at the Forest View Educational Center in November 2014.

The concert is part of the orchestra's partnership with District 214 Community Education which also has partnerships with The Northwest Symphony Orchestra's 2015 season, The Northwest Suburban Community Concert Association's 2015 season and The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band's 2015 season.
