Pedestrian injured in Elk Grove Village accident at Devon Avenue, Elmhurst Road

One person was injured in a pedestrian accident at Devon Avenue and Elmhurst Road in Elk Grove Village early Wednesday.

Authorities said the unidentified person was hit by a vehicle at about 5:23 a.m. He was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Officers remain on the scene investigating the crash, authorities said, but added there are no lane closures due to the crash.
