Elgin's Martini Room recently won the Daily Herald's Reader's Choice Award for the best place to go for a martini. See what all the fuss is about with a specially priced martini flight available from 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Ladies play free at Bikini Bottom

Ladies can cue-up for no charge on Tuesdays at Bikini Bottom Bar. In addition to free pool, Tuesday drink specials include $5 mai tais and $3.50 import drafts. Emmett's brews up a special spring dinner

Join Emmett's spring brewmaster dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at its Downers Grove location. The food side of the menu includes a tuna poke tower; roasted tomato, chive and Gorgonzola tartelette; ginger peach sorbet; fennel-dusted veal chop; and mango panna cotta. Beer pairings include Belgian Pale Ale, Rye IPA, British Mild and Sour Ale. $59.95 per person includes dinner, beer pairings, a pre-dinner beer reception and a brewery tour.
