Believe Project: $100 for pregnant daughter saving up for time off

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Gwen Gonzalez of Elgin.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"I would give it to my daughter, who is pregnant with her first child and has been sick and has had to miss work, which she cannot afford because her work does not pay for maternity leave. She has been trying to save money so she can afford to stay home for a few weeks after the baby is born. She is always ready to help others, especially helping at church with the young people. The $100 would help pay for expenses while she is off. Thank you."
