The pure joy of a no-star movie rating

Oh, joy! Once again, I thrill at reading the Daily Herald movie review with zero stars. "The DUFF" wins this stellar honor.

The review calls it a "hopelessly retrograde" comedy drag about a high school senior, Mae Whitman, who reinvents herself so she will stop being a DUFF (designated ugly fat friend).

A retrograde motion of a planet is when it appears to move backward in the night sky.

The movie lasts for 101 minutes. Just think of all the worthwhile tasks you could have done during that time.
