Salute Inc. receives $15,000 grant from foundation

On March 9, on behalf of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation, round-table member Curtis L. Maltin, awarded a $15,000 grant through its Worldwide Grant Program to Salute Inc. Matlin is a Wilmette resident and active longtime supporter and board member of Salute Inc.

The Million Dollar Round Table Foundation grant will support the organizations Emergency Financial Assistance Program that provides financial assistance to military members/veterans and their families experiencing financial difficulties brought on by deployment, extended active duty or injury.

Through its global grants, the foundation is committed to building stronger families and communities around the globe. This year, the foundation will award nearly $1 million in MDRT member-endorsed grants to more than 100 charitable organizations worldwide.

The MDRT Foundation was created in 1959 to provide members with a means to give back to their communities. Since its inception, the foundation has donated more than $29 million in more than 70 countries throughout the world and in all 50 U.S. states.
