Candidates true to Libertyville tradition

Having grown up in Libertyville, I feel like I have strong sense of community appreciation. And when I got married and had a family of my own, I could not have imagined raising my family in any other town.

Great neighborhood schools, a true and vibrant downtown, and a strong sense of community are what make Libertyville special.

However, all this doesn't come easy. We are fortunate to have a dedicated village government who have been fiscally responsible in managing the business of the community, with an eye toward the right type of growth that will help sustain the vitality we all enjoy.

We have an important election coming up on Tuesday, and I hope all of you will make sure to go to the polls and voice your opinion on who should lead our village. I feel the best interest of the Libertyville will be served by supporting Donna Johnson, Scott Adams and write-in candidate Pete Garrity.

Donna has served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for years and is the senior trustee on the Village Board. Scott grew up in Libertyville and has been an active supporter of the village for over 40 years. Pete Garrity is a retired executive with a fortune 500 company and has raised his family in Libertyville for over 33 years.

Please join me in our American process and vote on April 7, and I hope you will also support Johnson, Adams and Garrity and help keep Libertyville the place where we all enjoy to live, work, and play.
