Barley's Angels go to Church
Barley's Angels, a group of women beer lovers learning the art and appreciation of craft beer, invite you to join them on a field trip to Church Street Brewing. The gathering takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, and includes a tour of the brewery, a question-and-answer session with the Church Street team and a flight of all the beers on tap. A new bar bites menu complements Tuscany Restaurant's drink specials. Bar bites include baked clams for $6; pizza margherita or salsiccia for $5; mini beef sirloin carpaccio for $6; chicken pancetta sliders for $5; meatballs parmigiana sliders for $5; fried shrimp tempura for $6; beef tenderloin sliders for $8; and mini antipasto for $5. Drink specials are half-off wines by the glass and bottle on Monday; half-off all beers with free chips and marinara on Tuesday; half-off wines by the glass and bottle on Wednesday; $7 martinis on Thursday; and half-off appetizers on Friday. Bar bites are available from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and 9 to close Monday through Friday.
