Millennium Carillon season opens
The Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower and the Visitor Center open for the season on Saturday, May 2, at 430 Aurora Ave., Naperville. Visitors can climb the 253 steps to the top of the 160-foot tower and enjoy a spectacular view while learning about the workings of the carillon, its history and its unique features.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Friday hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., begin May 22 and continue through Aug. 14.
The carillon summer recital series begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, and features carillonneurs from the Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Australia, Canada and the United States. The 2015 summer recital performers are:

• Aug. 11: Jonathan Hebert, Peace Tower, Ottawa, Canada
• Aug. 18: Tim Sleep, Naperville
In addition to the Tuesday evening summer series, weekly recitals by local carillonneurs are performed at noon Saturdays, April through December. Carillon concerts begin at 7 p.m. Saturdays, June through August, and at 3 p.m. Sundays during April; 4 p.m. Sundays, May through September; and 3 p.m. Sundays, October through December.
