CFC to host visitors at Flint Creek Savanna
Citizens for Conservation (CFC) will host its Flint Creek Savanna Preserve opening to the public from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, for free interactive self-guided prairie walks. Wildflowers will be in bloom.
Visitors are reminded to bring their smartphones with a scanner app in order to access the videos of experts along the trail.
Wear good hiking shoes. Maps and refreshments will be provided.
The savanna and prairie trail will be hosted and open to the public 1-4 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month June through September.
