Mavis Staples, Otis Taylor to appear at Blues on the Fox

Headliners for the 19th Annual Blues on the Fox will include Chicago's Mavis Staples and the Otis Taylor Band, Aurora's RiverEdge Park announced Thursday.

The festival kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday, June 19, with blues rockers Royal Southern Brotherhood. Blues jam band North Mississippi Allstars follows at 9.

The music continues Saturday, June 20, with roots rockers Moreland & Arbuckle at 3 p.m., Chicago blues king Otis Taylor Band at 5, Staples at 7 and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue at 9.

Tickets cost $10 per day through May 31 and $20 after that. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

Also announced Thursday is an 8 p.m. Saturday, June 13, concert at RiverEdge by The BoDeans.

Tickets cost $25 through May 31 and $40 after that.
