Learn how to avoid utility bill scams at Elk Grove event

The Citizens Utility Board and state Rep. Marty Moylan are co-hosting a utility bill clinic April 2 in Elk Grove Village.

The clinic will teach people how to look at their utility bills and locate charges that they may be able to eliminate, Moylan said in a news release. Residents also will get tips on how to avoid utility bill scams.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the Sheila Ray Adult Center, 225 E. Elk Grove Blvd.
