Palatine American Legion to host wine and beer tasting fundraiser

The Palatine American Legion Auxiliary Post 690 is holding a beer and wine tasting Saturday, March 28, at D'Vine Wine and Gifts to raise money for Legion Family Charities.

"Stop by and meet some new friends while supporting this worthwhile charity," Lisa Wente, project co-chair, said in a statement. "For $20 you'll be able to try a number of beers and wines in your souvenir glass, enjoy some appetizers and participate in our raffles."

The wine will flow from 5 to 7 p.m. at D'Vine Wine's store, at 243 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine.
