Candidates will keep Wheeling on course

As president of the Village of Wheeling, I am pleased to say that our board of trustees is now as productive, creative, and responsible as it has ever been. In the past year, we have worked together to bring about major capital improvements, promote major new development, take an active regional leadership role, and make policies that will keep Wheeling on a long-term path of prosperity.

The village trustees deserve great credit for their vision and dedication. It is a great pleasure to work with trustees Ray Lang, Joe Vito, and Dave Vogel for the benefit of our community, and I am always impressed with their intelligence, experience, and good judgment.

Though they are all independent thinkers, and we sometimes disagree on questions of policy, I know that they are motivated only by a desire to do the best thing for Wheeling, and I value their enthusiasm and their positivity.

I wholeheartedly endorse Ray Lang and Dave Vogel for re-election to the office of village trustee, and I endorse the write-in candidacy of Joe Vito. Please join me in voting in the April 7 village election.
